Latest British Virgin Islands Entry Protocol (Updated November 18th, 2020)

  1. Advance (at least 48hrs) registration is mandatory via the online Gateway bvigateway.bviaa.com to be launched November 23rd 2020. This will walk you through the whole process and require documents to be uploaded so that your physical arrival on island go smoothly.

  2. Proof of COVID-19 travel insurance.

  3. A certified RT-PCR COVID-19 negative test taken no more than five days prior to arrival.

  4. Arrival commences at Terrence B Lettsome International airport (EIS) on December 1st. Arrival at Road Town via ferry from St Thomas USVI, commences December 8th.

  5. PCR COVID-19 test on arrival at your port of entry.

  6. On arrival, you’ll be required to download a smartphone tracking app and to wear a (waterproof) tracing bracelet. Tracking is mandatory and tampering with the bracelet will be charged at $125

  7. Transfer by government-approved transportation to your pre-approved gold-seal certified accommodation.

  8. 4 full days of quarantine. (Your arrival date is considered Day 0).

  9. PCR test on morning of Day 4 at nearest Government facility (transport provided by government), currently Sea Cows Bay and Cane Garden Bay are our closest facilities.

  10. You are free to fully enjoy the BVI with a negative test result on the morning of Day 5.

*cost of 2 mandatory PCR tests + mobile app and bracelet $175 per person (inc. children over 5 years old)

** If you need a PCR test to exit the Territory for your travel home/onwards, this can be arranged with the Ministry of Health when they call to schedule your 4th day PCR, at a cost of $70 per test.

*** Quarantine at your own home must be arranged directly with the Ministry of Health.

****If you test positive on either PCR test you will be required to quarantine for 14 days (this includes any days already spent in quarantine)
